Every parent wants to prepare their children for the world, and that includes worldview and moral education. But how far is too far when it comes to indoctrination? Religious groups push for their views to be taught in schools, but secular groups similarly lobby for critical thinking in education. Is one inherently worse than the other? Does “protecting children from indoctrination” just mean indoctrinating them into our own beliefs?
